Artopolis

Artopolis was another project to learn more about quickly developing web applications using Ruby on Rails. The idea was to create a clone of DeviantArt with strong interface improvements for use by friends and family. The project was abandoned about halfway through due to the urgency of class projects, but since it was developed before the file_column plugin, this application still shows some relatively advanced file manipulation and scripting capabilities.

Ruby Classroom

A project completed during the summer of 2006, Ruby Classroom is a classroom management web application targeted at secondary school educators. The primary purpose of the project was to learn Ruby on Rails, and how to use it to speed web development. It accomplished this goal handily, and I also got some real-world experience with server deployment and configuration for Ruby on Rails.

WILY Radio

WILY Radio is a web site for the radio station based in Wiley Residence Hall at Purdue. I was their webmaster during my first semester at Purdue, and this was how I redesigned their web site. Although it hasn't been updated since I stopped being in charge of it, the site is still live with the original design. Done in PHP, with a minimal backend. WILY Radio

Neat Things Blog Template

Designed a template for my personal blog, which is now resyndicated here. I designed this in early 2004, using a template for Blogger as a base. Still in use today, I have kept up the blog since then, using it as a record of personal development and method of communication with friends. Link
