Artopolis was another project to learn more about quickly developing web applications using Ruby on Rails. The idea was to create a clone of DeviantArt with strong interface improvements for use by friends and family. The project was abandoned about halfway through due to the urgency of class projects, but since it was developed before the file_column plugin, this application still shows some relatively advanced file manipulation and scripting capabilities.Live Demo
